Saturday, September 23rd, 2017

We are writing to announce the launch of Maghrib Past & Present | Podcasts – podcasts in which artists, writers, and scholars from North Africa, the United States, and beyond can present their ongoing and innovative research on and cultural activities in the Maghrib. We hope that they might be of classroom interest to you, your colleagues, or your students in your on-going teaching and research. Our podcasts cover a wide variety of subjects pertaining to North Africa, the Mediterranean, the Sahel region of Africa, and the Middle East, including anthropology, archeology, geography, history, linguistics, literature, political science, sociology, and urban sociology. Podcasts can be streamed from our website (www.themaghribpodcast.com), and can be downloaded free of charge at iTunes. Use of content for classroom purposes and on other non-profit educational websites is granted (and encouraged) with proper citation.
